This process prolongs the life of brass however it keeps Lake City brass form being shiny and pristine like other factory new ammo. Crusader 50 BMG ammunition is manufactured using military pull down components from Lake City factory military ammo. All components are inspected twice before loading to assure the use of quality products. After inspection, brass is confirmed to be in SAAMI specifications. If brass is out of specification it is reconditioned so that every case is in specification, assuring proper chambering of every round. All of Crusader's 50 cal ammo starts with Lake City sealed factory primed brass, Lake City M33 660 grain FMJ projectiles and military spec WC860 gunpowder. After manufacturing each round of 50 BMG ammunition is inspected again to insure a consistent quality product.
